Enter a new Actuality of surreal fantasy where mystical characters wield fabulous powers and struggle to discover the secrets of true existence Invisible Sun is the new roleplaying game by Monte Cook. Its focus is in deep immersion storytelling. Its mechanics and gameplay are tailored around overcoming the barriers to that immersion. Magic is not mechanical, but truly magical. Character creation and development is based around story arcs. And we’ve gone further than that. Because we know the challenges gamers face in the modern world, with conflicting schedules and sometimes distant players, Invisible Sun does something different. It embraces traditional tabletop play, but enhances it with away-from-the-table activities, rules to deal with absent players, solo play, online play, and more. All the barriers are down. All doors are open.

Welcome to the Nightside

Wise and powerful vislae, you have conquered yet another challenge, and reached another goal. You now have access to the secrets of The Nightside. This book, in its satin bag with an embroidered warding symbol on it for your protection, is available as an Add-On, and is free to all casting Control the Black Cube (with or without a key) and higher level spells. Be careful with that knowledge, my friend. Be wary of who and what you make pacts with. 

The clock on the wall--hmmm... where did that mirror come from? Nevermind. The clock on the wall whispers that the hour is late. But we can offer one more goal. It enhances everyone's rewards, so it is of interest to all vislae. But it's going to take a lot of doing to get there before the clocks demand their due. If we can reach $655,001, we will put a series of additional handouts and posters specifically for the city of Satyrine in everyone's Black Cube. For starters, a handbill-size poster for Zero's bar. 

 

And that's just the beginning. We'll include number of immersive, cool props--wanted posters, advertisements, restaurant menus, play programs, coasters, matchbooks (empty, so they're safe to ship), and so on. And of course they'll all have a touch of the surreal, and of course they'll all hold secrets.

 

 

Thank you so much for your support in this project. It's all been fun and exciting to share this with you. Take the last few hours we have in the campaign and recruit some new vislae. Your friends will be sad they missed out on this. Ask them to join you in your escape!

Goal Reached. Approaching The End.

We made the final stretch goal! Every single vislae's Black Cube will now contain an assortment of wonderful props, posters, and other immersive items. Our journey down the Path of Suns and back up the Nightside Path nears completion. 

Important Information for the End of the Campaign

Honored vislae, this exciting campaign will be over in less than an hour or so. We all want to be sure you get the rewards you want and expect, so please go through this quick checklist before the campaign ends.

1. Double-check Your Spell, and Your Pledge. Go right now to the Kickstarter page and make sure you have cast the spell you want to get the rewards you want. If you’ve selected any Add-Ons, double-check your math to make sure your total pledge is correct. (Our pledge calculator can help you out.) 

2. Credit Card. Please make sure your credit card information in Kickstarter is current and correct. Make sure, if you need to, that you’ve got the funds available, and that your credit card company won’t be alarmed at the charge. Failures in processing may cause delays or prevent you from getting your rewards.

3. Last Minute Reward Add-Ons. Once the Kickstarter campaign is over you won't be able modify your pledge using Kickstarter for any reason. We hope to make some Add-Ons available, for a limited time, through our pledge management system. We can’t guarantee it, though, so if there’s something you want, now’s the time to be sure you get it.

4. Be Prepared for Additional Updates. The Kickstarter campaign is ending, but we’ll be interacting for some time—most rewards won’t ship until next year! We don’t always possess another foolproof way to reach you with important news about your rewards, so please make sure our updates aren’t overlooked or lost for all eternity, consigned in the hellish realm of your spam filter.

5. How Do You Spell Your Name? We apologize if this sounds silly or condescending, but it’s a real issue, and we have no other choice but to confront it head-on. Occasionally, in haste, people misspell or omit critical information when they provide it to us. This creates problems with shipping and sending rewards. When you provide information—your name, address, and so on—please pay close attention to all the details. If you live overseas, and your name or address includes special or accented characters, if at all possible please instead use the closest standard alphabetical character. Accented characters are often garbled as the Internet tries to convert them into American text; an "É" may come through the system written as "$%^", rendering your address undeliverable. Sometimes we can determine the correct spelling, but often not.

6. Spread the Word One Last Time! This campaign isn’t over yet!
